TashaRenee is a great eclectic vocalist that has been singing all of her life. She began playing the piano since the age of 7 and has played all styles of music.   Although she has been singing gospel since her first solo she decided to learn more about music as an undergrad and grad student in the Music-vocal performance degree programs. While working towards her degrees she was afforded he opportunity to be trained as a pianist as well as a vocalist.  She has been a part of several casts in operas across the nation, with her professional opera debut being the Strawberry Woman in Porgy and Bess in New Orleans, Louisiana.  She also studied voice in Italy and was able to perform gospel music at the Leaning Tower of Pisa and classical music at the Teatro Verdi.  Not only has she been featured among some of classical music’s celebrity she has also sung background for some the best in gospel, r&b, and country music.  In the gospel arena she has done background for Lisa McClendon, Leon Timbo, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Karen Clark-Sheard, Vicki Winans, Marvin Sapp, Dorinda Clark-Cole just to name a few.  She has sung in the Full Gospel Baptist Mass recording choir, Life Center Cathedral Mass choir, and the Louisiana State Full Gospel recording choir where she was also a featured soloist. 

In the r&b and country arena she currently sings background for the powerful Mrs. Ann Nesby and has sung background for Eric Benet, Michael McDonald, and Wynonna Judd.  Recently she was just one of the featured background singers for the AARP Songs of Soul concert at Philips Arena. She worked with such notable artists as Debbie Allen, Ann Nesby, Chaka Khan, Pastor Shirley Ceasar, CeCe Winans, Queen Latifah, Patti Austin, Yolanda Adams, Dionne Warwick, Paris Bennett,  and little miss Jamiah from the movie August Rush.

TashaRenee has been teaching for 9+ years on all levels and she is passionate about music and her students passion for learning. Let's Make it Happen!!!!!!!

Tasha Renee believes that hard work coupled with exercises innovatively interpreted to fit your voice andpiano style. Patience is what TashaRenee has to offer. Whether it be learning to sing or play in a group or choir setting, or learning how to sing or play your favorite solo; it's possible. No matter the genre: Gospel, classical, Christian, Urban, Neo, Country, Rock or any other style you're in to.
